$NAP Fan Token Gains 10% as Napoli Climb Into Top Spot in Serie A
Napoli overcame a Juventus side that was unbeaten in eight games to go top of the Serie A league table on Sunday night.
In the hours following Napoli’s 2-1 win the valuation of the Napoli Fan Token ($NAP) went on a 10% surge that’s still ongoing at time of writing, while trade volume for $NAP rose 620%.
Napoli Fan Token ($NAP) Gains 10%
From the daily low of $0.378 prior to the match against Juventus, the valuation of the Napoli Fan Token ($NAP) climbed as high as $0.423 after the final whistle.
The price increase amounted to gains of 11.9% for $NAP, before a retracement to the $0.416 mark left the token holding on to 10% gains in less than 24 hours.
The price surge was fuelled by a 620% increase to $NAP trade volume, which rose from $200,000 before the match, to over $1.4 million by Monday, Dec. 8.
The $NAP token price is now up 14.2% for the week, and over 25% since mid-November.
Napoli Stack Wins to Go Top
Since mid-November, Napoli won five out of the five games they played in all competitions, including a 1-0 away win against AS Roma ($ASR), and a 3-1 win against Atalanta.
Two goals from Rasmus Hojlund secured the three points on Sunday, against a Juventus ($JUV) team that came into the fixture off the back of an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions, including five in Serie A.
Napoli now sit atop the Serie A league table, one point ahead of second placed Inter Milan ($INTER).
AC Milan ($ACM) are currently in third position with a game in hand, and are due to travel away to Torino in the Monday night match.
