Which Fan Tokens Could Be Primed to Bounce Back in Q4, 2026?

Just as players naturally lose fitness during the off-season, tokens linked to club teams tend to fall out of the spotlight during the summer months, when there’s no club football on the calendar, and international football takes priority.
But with the new 2026/2027 season now getting under way, several club tokens are now gaining attention from traders. Some have sound fundamentals, some have historical precedence, and others have the profile and expectation of success that will naturally raise them up as the season progresses.
So which tokens have the potential to make an impact in the coming season?
Aston Villa ($AVL): Can the Underdogs Bite Again?
Aston Villa’s start to this season mirrors last season’s start almost exactly. In the current campaign, Villa had to wait five games before recording a win in the English Premier League. Last year, that number was six.
Despite this, Villa went on a miraculous run to finish in the coveted 4th place, which guaranteed Champions League football for this season. Oh, and they eventually went on to win the Europa League for the first time in their history.

When Villa finally got into gear, the Aston Villa Fan Token® ($AVL) was subject to several major upticks during the course of the season. Between November and January, the token price climbed 96%.
Between March and May, the price climbed 91% as Villa progressed in Europe, and briefly challenged Manchester City for a 2nd place spot.
Despite bringing in $409M from selling their best players this season, Villa have splashed over $300M to replace stars like Morgan Rogers and Ezri Konsa, but working from a deficit is nothing new for Villa.
All of Villa’s success in recent years has been achieved while being one of the very few English clubs whose financial records are in the black. In fact, in the last five years, Villa have managed to achieve a net income of $87.9M.
Consider that Manchester United’s net expenditure was $877M in that time, and yet they finished just one place above Villa in the 2025/2026 league table.
With a highly-regarded, wily manager, and a fresh team to learn from him, expect $AVL to grab some headlines this season.
Atlético Madrid ($ATM): When Combustible is a Positive!
Atlético’s Fan Token® has proven just as explosive and unpredictable as the team itself in recent times. Those adjectives could be applied to the team’s manager Diego Simeone, whose guidance has led his team to two La Liga victories during his long tenure at the club, but with Barcelona and Madrid in his way, victories are never assured for Atléti.
As evidence of $ATM’s combustible nature, the token price climbed from $0.80 to $1.52 in the space of two weeks in February, when Atlético knocked Barcelona out of the Copa del Rey.

Later in the year, between June and July, the token price climbed 257%, as the spot price hit $2.87, backed by peak trade volume of close to $40M. Transfer rumours were ascribed to the price hike, but the market gives no assurances as to how it operates.
Ultimately, the Atlético Madrid Fan Token® ($ATM) benefits from being the ‘third’ team in Spain. Atlético aren’t expected to win every game like their larger rivals. This opens up the $ATM token to a broader range of speculation, where unexpected wins can translate into larger price spikes.
If this season turns out to be even vaguely similar to last season, $ATM could be the subject of major trading action, especially during crunch matches against Real and Barcelona.
Paris Saint-Germain ($PSG): Baked In? Or Waiting to Rise?
Consecutive Champions League winners and multiple-time league champions, PSG are essentially the number one club team in the world right now, but after five games in Ligue One they sit seven points behind leaders AS Monaco ($ASM), in 5th place.
Looking at the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token® ($PSG) six-month chart, we see a steady decline ever since the night before the Champions League final, where it appears that traders took profits early on what they assumed was a certain win for PSG (and they turned out to be right).

The $PSG token’s slow start to the season probably has less to do with PSG’s poor start, and more to do with the fact that traders expect the team to rise up eventually, and are perhaps waiting for the right time to jump in, especially as more important games arrive throughout the season.
That said, in the past three weeks the $PSG token price has climbed a modest 7%, backed by peak volume of over $4M. Is something cooking in Paris?
