Winner and Losers: How Fan Token® Clubs Fared in UCL Goal-Fest

PSG scored six, Barcelona ended Aston Villa’s perfect start, and Roma battled hard only to leave Old Trafford empty-handed.
Paris Saint-Germain led the charge as seven clubs with tokens in the SportFi arena featured in matches producing 21 goals in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Four of those clubs celebrated victories, while Aston Villa, Roma and Atlético Madrid were left with rather less to celebrate on the night.
| Match | Tokens involved | Total goals |
| Villarreal 0–6 Paris Saint-Germain | $PSG | 6 |
| Barcelona 3–0 Aston Villa | $BAR, $AVL | 3 |
| Feyenoord 0–3 Inter | $INTER | 3 |
| Galatasaray 2–0 Stuttgart | $GAL | 2 |
| Manchester United 3–2 Roma | $ASR | 5 |
| Atlético Madrid 0–2 Bayern Munich | $ATM | 2 |
| Total | Seven Fan® Token clubs | 21 |
PSG Make Champions League History
PSG were four goals ahead before the match was 17 minutes old, after João Neves opened the scoring in the ninth minute, followed by Désiré Doué, Senny Mayulu and Fabián Ruiz in an extraordinary eight-minute burst.
The fourth goal arrived after just 16 minutes and two seconds, making Paris the fastest team to score four times in a Champions League match, according to Opta.
It was PSG’s biggest away victory in the competition, keeping them top with four wins from four. They have now scored 20 goals in those four matches: six against Slovan Bratislava, four against Manchester City, four against Barcelona, and another six last night in Spain.
Trade volume for the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token® ($PSG) rose to over $1 million in the build-up to the match, but that was still some way off the $2.4 million recorded earlier in the week.

Seen above, the token’s performance before and during the match would have been difficult to predict. Ultimately, despite falling to the $0.36 mark, the token price eventually returned to the mid-$0.37 range at which it started the day.

Barcelona End Villa’s Perfect Start
The night’s only meeting between two Fan Token® clubs went Barcelona’s way, with Lamine Yamal punishing a defensive error after seven minutes, before Raphinha’s goals in the 52nd and 64th minutes settled the contest. The Brazilian also drew level with Ronaldinho on 94 goals during his time at Barça.
Villa had opportunities to equalise before half-time, while substitute Leon Goretzka later clipped the post with a header. But Unai Emery’s side could not rescue their unbeaten European record after winning their opening three fixtures.
Following the match, the Barcelona Fan Token® ($BAR) sank briefly before returning to just 0.8% above the value at which it started the day, similar to the pattern seen in $PSG. This suggests the tokens might have been swayed more by broader market moves than last night’s results.

The Aston Villa Fan Token® ($AVL) had recorded 1.6% losses over 24 hours, at time of writing.
Inter and Galatasaray Build Momentum
Inter ($INTER) delivered a welcome response to their 3–1 derby defeat against AC Milan, winning 3–0 away at Feyenoord. Yann Bisseck struck after eight minutes, Francesco Pio Esposito added the second and Piotr Zieliński completed the scoring after the break.
Having lost their opening two Champions League games, the Nerazzurri have now won their next two without conceding.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray ($GAL) followed a similar path, making it successive European victories with a 2–0 win over Stuttgart. Aleksey Batrakov scored in the 12th and 15th minutes, although the visitors had their chances. After opening with defeats to Sporting and Barcelona, Galatasaray have taken six points from their last two games.
Roma Let It Slip While Atlético Draw Blank
Roma ($ASR) appeared to be heading for a productive evening in Manchester when Matías Soulé and Donyell Malen put them 2–0 ahead at Old Trafford inside 17 minutes. Instead, Bruno Fernandes’s retaken penalty began a Manchester United comeback, as Matheus Cunha scored in the 83rd and 86th minutes to turn three points into none for the Romans.
Atlético Madrid ($ATM), meanwhile, lost 2–0 at home to Bayern Munich. A goalless first half gave way to strikes from Lennart Karl in the 54th minute and Konrad Laimer in the 74th, with Harry Kane setting up the latter.
Diego Simeone’s side remain on four points from four matches, leaving work to do in the second half of the league phase.
More meetings between Fan Token® clubs are coming later this month: Galatasaray host Aston Villa on November 24, before PSG welcome Roma on November 25.
