$SPAIN Caps 21% Growth as Oyarzabal Sinks England at Wembley

The Spain Fan Token® completed a 21% advance across the measured period as Mikel Oyarzabal again scored the decisive goal against England.
World champions Spain opened their UEFA Nations League campaign with a 3-2 victory over England at Wembley this past weekend, as Spain continue to rack up wins while $SPAIN continues to stack up gains.
The Spain Fan Token® ($SPAIN) has been on the rise since mid-September, and now, almost two weeks on, its valuation stands over 21% higher after a dramatic comeback thriller against England.
$SPAIN Price Analysis
In the week leading up to the England match, the valuation of the Spain Fan Token® ($SPAIN) quietly increased by 10%, as the token price edged upwards day on day.
Following the final 3-2 result on Saturday, Sept. 26, the token’s valuation had climbed to $0.135, marking a 21.6% increase since the price-trough of $0.111 in the middle of the month.
The $SPAIN token only launched as recently as late-June, yet on the day of the match the token’s trade volume had increased six-fold, hitting $300,000 just prior to kickoff.

The market movement coincided with Spain’s return to competitive football in the UEFA Nations League, but much of the increase was already established before kick-off. Saturday’s result was the icing on the cake of an ongoing $SPAIN revival, as opposed to being the catalyst for the spike itself.
England vs Spain: Match Report
There was no lack of drama in Saturday’s match, with Spain being required to dig deep to complete a comeback via two substitute goals. A missed penalty by England talisman Harry Kane helped Spain on their way.
Lamine Yamal gave the visitors the perfect start, dispossessing Marc Guéhi before scoring inside two minutes. England responded late in the first half through Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane, whose header took a deflection off Spanish full-back Marc Cucurella.
Kane then had an opportunity to put England 3-1 ahead from the penalty spot in the 54th minute, but struck the crossbar.
Spain manager Luis de la Fuente introduced Álex Baena and Oyarzabal one minute later, transforming the direction of the match almost immediately.
Baena equalised in the 60th minute before creating the winner for Oyarzabal 14 minutes later, completing Spain’s 3-2 victory in front of approximately 75,000 supporters.
Spain Extend Unbeaten Run to 39 Games
The result extended Spain’s unbeaten sequence to an incredible 39 matches, and placed them alongside Croatia at the top of Nations League Group A3.
Oyarzabal has now scored the winning goal in two major Spain victories over England. The Real Sociedad forward decided the Euro 2024 final when he converted Marc Cucurella’s cross in the 86th minute of Spain’s 2-1 victory in Berlin. Just over two years later, he again appeared from the bench to settle the contest.

The present movement follows a summer in which Spain won their second World Cup, and approximately 6.38 million $SPAIN were removed from treasury reserves through the Burn to Glory campaign, where every win created more scarcity for $SPAIN and the $SPAIN token holders.
What Comes Next for Spain?
Spain’s next match is against Croatia at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in Seville on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Croatia also began their campaign with three points, beating Czechia 2-1 through goals from Luka Modrić and Franjo Ivanović. The meeting will therefore give one of the two opening-round winners an opportunity to take early control of Group A3.
