PSG and Arsenal Fan Tokens™ Land on Solana and Base In Time for UCL Final Showdown

The Paris Saint-Germain ($PSG) and Arsenal ($AFC) Fan Tokens™ are now omnichain assets, having gone live on Solana and Base ahead of Saturday’s Champions League Final (May 30).
Heralded as an enormous development for SportFi, the arrival of two of the biggest and most-traded Fan Tokens™ on two new blockchain networks marks the first live deployment of Chiliz’s omnichain architecture.
It is fitting that this deployment involves $PSG and $AFC, both of which sit inside the top ten Fan Tokens™ by market cap. While $AFC occupies ninth spot with a market cap of $7.8M at the time of writing, $PSG resides at the top of the table with a total market value of $16.8M.
Why $PSG and $AFC Are Going Omnichain
By launching on Solana and Base, these top SportFi assets will tap into expanded liquidity and on-chain utility, and grant easy access to two of the most active blockchain ecosystems in the entire industry.
Now, for the first time, users in these ecosystems can freely trade Fan Tokens™ without needing to leave their existing wallets, platforms, or chains. Both Solana and Base support millions of daily active addresses and passionate trading communities who populate platforms like Jupiter and Meteora (Solana) and Aerodrome (Base).
The omnichain expansion of $PSG and $AFC, and at a later date other Fan Tokens™, means that assets can move seamlessly across Chiliz Chain, Solana, and Base while maintaining a single unified supply.
The ability of Fan Tokens™ to transport easily across three chains without fragmenting supply into separate/wrapped token versions means that while Chiliz Chain remains the core infrastructure layer for the asset class, tokens are the same wherever they are traded.

Widening accessibility to Fan Tokens™ was a major pillar of the Chiliz 2030 manifesto which outlined plans to bring sentiment-driven market dynamics to mainstream on-chain audiences. Omnichain expansion was an important move to open the door to more trading markets, deeper liquidity, and new DeFi uses-cases and integrations.
Trading Campaigns on Solana and Base
Ahead of Saturday’s Champions League showdown, when Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to defend their title and Arsenal will seek to win the competition for the first time, there will be trading campaigns on both Solana’s Jupiter DEX and Base’s Aerodrome DEX.
In both cases, the focus will be on $PSG and $AFC Fan Tokens™. On Jupiter, the campaign will offer $10,000 in Fan Token™ rewards for eligible $PSG traders, and $10,000 in Fan Token™ rewards for eligible $AFC traders.
An additional $5,000 bonus pool will be created for traders supporting the Fan Token™ of the Champions League-winning club. This campaign starts May 26, 5:00pm CEST, and ends May 30, 8:00pm CEST.
On Aerodrome, a $10,000 liquidity incentive campaign focused on $PSG and $AFC trading pools will ensure that eligible users who provide liquidity to eligible Fan Token™ pools during the campaign gain access to LP rewards via Aerodrome’s native liquidity incentive infrastructure. Titans of Europe: Fan Token™ Clubs Are Dominating
Both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have enjoyed incredible seasons, winning their domestic leagues with games to spare and making serene progress through the Champions League.
En route to the final, holders PSG have dispatched Monaco, Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich, while Arsenal have seen off Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting Lisbon, and Atlético Madrid.
PSG vs Arsenal marks the third occasion in which a UCL final has been contested between Fan Token™ clubs, following Manchester City ($CITY) vs Inter Milan ($INTER) in 2023 and PSG vs Inter Milan last year.
Last year’s showpiece attracted 24hr trade volumes of $31.8M for $PSG and $9.6M for $INTER, with PSG running out 5-0 winners at the Allianz Arena.
