Can Scotland Maintain 100% Token Burn Win Record vs Morocco?

Scotland are set to play their second game of the World Cup when they face Morocco on June 19, where a win could see them reach the next round of the tournament for the first time in their history.
What’s more, a Scotland win would see the Scotland Fan Token™ ($SFA) become the first to trigger its second consecutive token burn, after 1% of $SFA’s treasury reserves were burned following their win over Haiti on June 14.
For the duration of the World Cup, selected national team Fan Tokens™ are eligible for token burns for every match they win.
Depending on the remaining reserves left in a token’s treasury, a potential 24% of a token’s supply could be permanently removed from circulation if the associated national team wins every World Cup game.
Scotland Look to Make History
Scotland stand on the brink of qualifying from the group stage of the World Cup for the first time when they meet 2022 semi-finalists Morocco at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Friday.
Scotland’s first appearance at a World Cup since 1998 got off to a good start as they beat group minnows Haiti 1-0, also in Foxborough. This triggered a token burn equal to 1% of the $SFA token’s treasury, which amounted to 183,542 tokens being permanently removed from its total supply ceiling.

Should Scotland beat Morocco, a further 181,706 $SFA tokens stand to be burned from the token’s supply.
With the first round of World Cup fixtures having been played, only Scotland and Argentina retain a chance of keeping a perfect win record and triggering the maximum token burn. Argentina also won their first group game, after a Lionel Messi hat-trick secured a 3-0 win over Algeria.
How Scotland vs Morocco Could Play Out
Scotland come into tonight’s match off the back of a solid run of form that saw the team win eight of its last eleven games, drawing one and losing just two. When Scotland do win, they tend to win big, as evidenced by the 3+ goals they scored in five of their last eight wins.
However, Morocco are considered favourites, and can point to terrific recent form against European sides (D2,W3), as well as a five-match unbeaten run in the World Cup competition over the two most recent tournaments.
These nations have met just once before: in 1998 when Scotland and Morocco were both drawn in a group alongside Brazil. On that occasion, Morocco won 3-0 in the final group-stage match. Interestingly, Brazil and Norway progressed to the knockout stage at the expense of both teams.
