FC Porto Fan Token Hits 14% Weekly Gains Following Arsenal Signing

It’s been a good week for FC Porto after securing the signing of Polish centre-back Jakub Kiwior from English Premier League club Arsenal ($AFC).
A 6% increase to the value of the FC Porto Fan Token ($PORTO) on Tuesday, Sept. 9 builds upon a 14% increase over the past week. In fact, the $PORTO token has shown remarkable growth over the course of the entire summer.
FC Porto Fan Token Hits 14% Weekly Growth
From a starting point of $1.01, the FC Porto Fan Token ($PORTO) had risen to $1.07 by Tuesday morning, marking 6% growth over 24 hours.
Pulling back to the weekly view, we see that the $PORTO token has gained 14% – climbing from a starting price of $0.94 seven days ago.

It’s been a good summer overall for the $PORTO token, which despite some ups and downs has been on the rise ever since mid-June.
On June 23 the token was priced at just $0.70. Today’s valuation of $1.07 means the $PORTO token has gained 53% in just under three months.
Trade volume has been fairly stable over the course of the past week, staying within the $2-3 million range for most of that time.
FC Porto Signs Arsenal Centre-Back
FC Porto pulled off what might be regarded as a coup with their recent signing of Polish international centre-back Jakub Kiwior.
Kiwior signed on-loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, after the player stated his desire to leave Arsenal to secure more playing time.
Aged just 25, the player has already achieved 37 caps for Poland. Kiwior made 68 appearances for Arsenal in two and a half years, although many of these came from the bench.
