F1 Fan Tokens Revving Up as Tension Builds at Season Half-Way Point

Author: Greg Thomson

It’s been a good week (and month) for Formula 1 fan tokens as Alpine F1, McLaren F1 and the Aston Martin Cognizant Fan Tokens all registered gains as the Formula 1 season nears its half-way point, with the 12th race of the 24-race season just days away.

The Alpine F1 Team Fan Token (ALPINE) saw nearly $10M change hands in the last 24 hours while its value climbed 9.5% over the course of the week.

The Alpine F1 Team Fan Token gained 63% for the month, climbing from a spot price of $0.60 to $0.98.

While it has been a season to forget for Alpine F1 so far this season, technical director David Sanchez is already looking ahead to the 2026 season. Sanchez claims the team has made the biggest development out of all F1 teams, particularly in the area of aerodynamics.

Aerodynamics may be set to play a stronger role next season, given the F1 league’s new regulations changes which have been designed to reduce CO2 output.

“Our design departments have developed well – some faster than others. We have probably made the biggest step in aerodynamics. That’s where I come from and where I feel comfortable,” Sanchez said.

The McLaren F1 Fan Token (MCL) appeared to react strongly to wins by Lando Norris at the Australian and British Grand Prix’s in the past month, while second-place finishes by Oscar Piastri made it a clean sweep for McLaren.

The spot price of the McLaren F1 Fan Token climbed from $0.004 to $0.008 in the past thirty days, marking a 100% increase for the month.

McLaren are now some way ahead of the rest of the pack in the F1 league standings, with Oscar Piastri sitting in first place with five wins, four roles, and 234 points in total. Lando Norris sits close behind his McLaren teammate with four wins, three roles, and 226 points.

Meanwhile, the value of the Aston Martin Cognizant Fan Token (AM) is nearing a monthly high, having climbed from $0.16 to $0.18 over the past two weeks, amounting to 12.5% gains.

Aston Martin drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso currently hover around the bottom half of the league standings, sitting in 12th and 14th place, respectively.
