Chiliz Includ3d Innovation at Hacking Paris Shows How Fan Tokens Could Make a Positive Social Impact

Sebastian Dieguez, Chiliz Public Affairs Lead, announcing the launch of the second edition of the Chiliz Includ3d Accelerator.
Chiliz Includ3d, the social impact arm of Chiliz, creators of Fan Tokens, launched the second edition of its global accelerator programme to transform sport through Web3 technology at Hacking Paris.
Part of the launch included a Social Impact ‘mini-challenge’, which featured as a warm-up bounty on Day 1 of the Hackathon.
The challenge saw developers propose Web3 sports dApps that can make a positive social impact.
The winners are shown below.
- Altcoin Daddy – SportHood: A Web3 platform that turns neighbourhoods into community-owned “sports nations” powered by Fan Tokens, gamified challenges, and local governance.
- Bin & Win: A matchday recycling solution using IoT bins and fan wallets to reward fans with tokens when they properly recycle inside stadiums.
- FanStock: A platform bringing fan token mechanics to grassroots football clubs, letting fans buy local tokens and participate in real ownership and governance.
Revealing more of the deep creativity within the Web3 sports developer scene on Chiliz Chain, these projects also show how Fan Tokens can be used for wider societal benefit.
The Chiliz Incud3d Accelerator highlights Chiliz commitment to creating real-world utility and impact through blockchain.
Developed alongside READY Sport Global, the accelerator supports early-stage initiatives using Web3 sport for social good.
The first edition, which launched in October last year, featured online modules, live expert sessions and tailored mentorship, bringing 321 participants together from 46 countries – with participants accessing the world’s first certification in blockchain, sport and social impact.
Applications for the second edition are open until the end of July and can be made by following the link, here.
