Why the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token™ is Up 10.1% Since Yesterday

The value of the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token™ ($PSG) climbed 10.1% between May 10 and May 11, a consequence of the club’s likely coronation as Ligue 1 champions.
Yesterday’s 1-0 win over Brest saw Luis Enrique’s men go six points clear of closest rivals Lens with just two games left.
Even if Les Parisiens were to lose those two fixtures, their vastly superior goal difference to Lens makes their lead virtually unassailable.
While they might not have clinched the trophy yesterday, the victory over Brest all but delivered PSG’s fifth straight title – and the Fan Token™ market responded.
How $PSG Rocketed as Title Drew Closer
Between May 9 and May 10, the day of the match, the price of the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token™ ($PSG)rose from $0.860 to $1.27 per Socios.com, a staggering climb of 47.6%.
$1.27 was a brief daily peak, however, and the token has since fallen back to $1.05 – which is still 28.5% higher than it was a week ago.

Daily trade volumes for $PSG have exploded in recent days, from less than $10M the day before the Brest game to $54M the day after. $PSG trade volumes are currently the highest in the entire SportFi landscape, despite Barcelona ($BAR) clinching the La Liga title yesterday.
Can $PSG Climb Higher Ahead of UCL Final?
Perhaps the liquidity flowing into $PSG reflects their prospects of winning a league and Champions League double this month, which raises the possibility of further gains for $PSG.
After concluding their domestic campaign against Lens (May 13) and Paris FC (May 17), they meet Arsenal in Budapest on May 30.
It is significant that Paris Saint-Germain could secure the league title against Lens, the team that have pushed them all the way this season.
However, the fact that Lens have won 13 of their last 14 matches at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis suggests PSG may have to postpone their official title celebrations until this Sunday’s home tie against Paris FC.
Lens will certainly be desperate to keep their own dream alive, though the goal differential of 15 makes PSG’s coronation as champions inevitable.
When PSG won last year’s UCL final against Inter, their Fan Token™ hit $2.33. Given its current value of $1.05, those backing the club to defend the title may anticipate it making another steep climb in May.
