How Galatasaray ($GAL) Shocked Liverpool to Cap 50% Quarterly Growth

Galatasaray overcame Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday, March. 10, in a surprise win which capped a strong quarter for Galatasaray both on and off the pitch.
Galatasaray have won the past three Turkish Süper Lig titles, and are currently four points clear at the top of the league with nine games still to play.
Galatasaray’s good form in recent months has translated into price growth for the Galatasaray Fan Token ($GAL), which currently holds a 50% higher valuation than it did in mid-December.
How Galatasaray ($GAL) Performed in Early 2026
The valuation of the Galatasaray Fan Token ($GAL) had fallen to an all-time low of $1.08 by mid-December of 2025, in line with the declines of both the general crypto space, and the Fan Token market in general.
Since then, however, Galatasaray have maintained good enough form to stir positive sentiment and attract trading action to the $GAL token.
By time of writing on March. 11, the $GAL token price was perched around the $1.63 mark, amounting to 50% growth in the last quarter alone.

As you can see in the chart above, there was a huge influx of trade volume into $GAL markets between February and March.
Daily average trade volume often exceeded $6-7 million in that timeframe, and even climbed to a 10-month high of $7.8 million on Feb. 26.
Outlook for $GAL in 2026
The influx of trade volume into $GAL markets in February and March signal the market’s view of Galatasaray as the most likely winners of this year’s Turkish Süper Lig.
The same pattern was witnessed in the Inter Milan Fan Token ($INTER), which attracted millions in daily trade volume as the team ascended to the top of the Italian league moving into the New Year.
With a 1-0 home win in the bag against Liverpool in the Champions League, it’s easy to see $GAL continuing its upward momentum should Galatasaray pull off the unexpected and progress to the next round of the Champions League.
It’s easy for teams outside of Europe’s top-ranked leagues to go unnoticed, but Galatasaray’s on-field performances have quietly pushed $GAL to become one of the Fan Token market’s best performers over the course of the past quarter.
Last night’s win against Liverpool proves the Turkish champions have what it takes to push even higher.
