Bumper Token Hunt for $SPAIN vs $BELG Quarterfinal Clash

The Token Hunt for this Friday’s World Cup quarterfinal between Spain and Belgium (July 10) is set to be a great one, with numerous rewards up for grabs.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Fan Token™ derby and the rewards you can pursue.
What is Token Hunt: Nations in Play?
Token Hunt: Nations in Play is a campaign that has been running throughout the World Cup, centered around matches involving Fan Token™ nations.
Those participating in the campaign have the opportunity to collect Fan Tokens™, Chiliz Tokens ($CHZ), and Reward Points, with the next edition – for Friday’s Fan Token™ derby between Spain and Belgium – scheduled to start on July 9 at 21:00 CEST (24 hours before kickoff).
The reward pools will be as follows:
• 2,2026 $SPAIN
• 2,206 $BELG
• 4,052 $CHZ
• 200,000 Reward Points
Token Hunt: Nations in Play can be accessed from within the Socios app.
Token Hunts are considered part of the Matchday Playbook during the tournament, alongside prematch staking (to generate Reward Points and earn a Match Win Bonus), playing the fantasy football-style game Squad Me Up, and competing to climb the weekly staking leaderboard.
Which Fan Token™ Will Trigger 5% Treasury Burn?
The winner of Spain vs Belgium won’t just book themselves a spot in the semifinal. They will also trigger a burn of 5% of their Fan Token™ treasury reserves, instantly making their asset scarcer.
A Spain victory would cause 1,163,634 $SPAIN to burn, bringing the total number of tokens burned during the tournament to 2,748,345.
Belgium winning would burn 760,256 $BELG, bringing the total burn amount to 1,630,146.
Both Spain and Belgium have a relatively high percentage of their Fan Tokens™ in the treasury (82% and 79%), making their clash in the quarterfinals even tastier from the perspective of SportFi traders keen to front-run the scheduled win-driven supply shock.
This match will be the second consecutive Fan Token™ derby for Spain, who eliminated Portugal ($POR) in the last-16, courtesy of a late winner from Mikel Merino.
Belgium, meanwhile, punched their ticket to the quarterfinal by destroying co-hosts USA 4-1 in what was their best performance of the tournament so far.
