Tottenham Hotspur Fan Token Claws Back 12% Amid 7-Match Unbeaten Run

The Tottenham Hotspur Fan Token ($SPURS) kickstarted something of a revival in the last few days as its spot price increased by 12% since Oct. 11.
The sudden upturn in fortunes for the $SPURS token follows a similar upturn for Bitcoin (BTC) and other major cryptocurrencies on the same date, and coincides with a seven-match unbeaten run for Tottenham in all competitions.
Tottenham Hotspur Fan Token Gains 12%
From a low of $0.292 on Oct. 11, the Tottenham Hotspur Fan Token ($SPURS) went on a sudden upsurge which saw it land at a price of $0.327 as of time of writing – marking gains of 12% (or 11.98% to be exact).

In fact, on Oct. 14, the $SPURS spot price actually climbed as high as $0.357 for a brief moment, which would have amounted to gains of 22.2% had the token price not receded following this short-lived peak.
Trade volume for the $SPURS token wavered between $100,000 and $750,000 between Oct. 11-14. Currently listed on nine exchanges, the majority of trade volume occurred on the Bithumb exchange, followed by OKX and Paribu.
Ultimately, the 12% revival marks the reversal of a downward trend that had afflicted the $SPURS token for much of the past month.
Tottenham’s 7-Match Unbeaten Run in All Comps
The upturn in the trajectory of the $SPURS token’s value also coincides with some consistently strong showings by Tottenham Hotspur on the pitch in recent weeks.
After finishing in 17th place under Ange Postecoglu last season (while still qualifying for the Champions League by winning the Europa League), Tottenham have been a very different side under new manager Thomas Frank this season.
Last season’s inconsistency has been replaced with a steady resilience that has seen Spurs go unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions.
The team currently sits in third place in the Premier League, just two points behind league-leaders Arsenal, having conceded just five goals – the fewest out of all teams in the league (joint with Crystal Palace ($CPFC) and Newcastle).
Tottenham’s next batch of upcoming games look tough on paper. Spurs are set to face Aston Villa ($AVL), Monaco, Everton ($EFC), Newcastle, and Chelsea, between domestic and European competitions.
Spurs fans will have reasons to be optimistic, however, and at this stage of the season, would be justified in feeling they could extend their seven-match unbeaten run.
