Why City Draw Helped Arsenal Fan Token™ ($AFC) Jump 26%

Manchester City’s wild 3-3 draw with Everton has put Arsenal in pole position to win the Premier League, with the $AFC Fan Token™ climbing 26% in a matter of hours after full-time.
According to Polymarket, Arsenal now have an 80% chance of lifting the trophy, compared to 21% for Manchester City.
How Arsenal Fan Token™ ($AFC) Rocketed After City Stalemate
Priced at $0.4018 yesterday, the Arsenal Fan Token™ ($AFC) rocketed after City’s shock draw in Liverpool, climbing to a weekly peak of $0.5063 by early this morning (+26%).
It wasn’t just the price of $AFC that was surging: it was also trade volumes, which rose from $695,013 pre-match to over $6M at the time of writing, per Socios.com.

This steep rise underscores just how valuable a result this was for the Gunners, who are currently five points ahead of City, who have a game in hand.
If Pep Guardiola’s side had defeated Everton and won their remaining four fixtures, they would have won the league regardless of Arsenal’s results. Now, the Gunners’ fate lies in their own hands.
It’s Not Over Yet
The fact that Polymarket still gives City a 21% chance of winning the title proves that it’s not quite over yet. However, the Manchester City Fan Token™ ($CITY) was a casualty of last night’s result, its value falling from $0.6300 prematch to $0.5571 this morning (-11.5%).
Arsenal’s final three league games are away to West Ham United (May 10), at home to Burnley (May 18), and away to Crystal Palace (May 24).
City, meanwhile, have back-to-back home games against Brentford (May 9) and Crystal Palace (May 13) before they face Bournemouth away (May 19) and host Aston Villa (May 24).
Compounding difficulties for City is the fact that they play Chelsea in the FA Cup final on May 16. As such, they have three matches in seven days to navigate between May 13 and May 19.
Anyone familiar with the Premier League will tell you there are no guaranteed wins, so with that in mind, there could be another twist to come.
Arsenal’s short trip to the London Stadium this Sunday is certainly a potential banana skin, as West Ham United will be fighting tooth and nail to pull themselves out of the relegation zone.
Those backing Arsenal to win the title might point out that their three remaining league opponents are currently 15th, 18th, and 19th, while City must beat two teams in the top six (Aston Villa and Bournemouth).
Whatever happens next, the markets will continue to reflect the title prospects of both Arsenal and Manchester City.
