Following the recent livestream trading battle for Spain vs Portugal, Chiliz is once again partnering with Vibe.trading and Battle Trade for a high-stakes contest.
This time, participants will be trading the Fan Tokens™ of Spain ($SPAIN) and Belgium ($BELG) as the European heavyweights collide in Friday’s World Cup quarterfinal (July 10).
Traders Doug Hype, AndySlaps and dub, will face off as the match unfolds, with their battle broadcast on X and YouTube. The livestream will go live at 22:00 CEST for the second half of the match.
Unlike the trading battle for Spain vs Portugal, this one will be open to retail traders too, deepening market liquidity as the quarterfinal unfolds.
Naturally, traders (and viewers) will be watching the match closely to determine how in-game events – goals, penalties, bookings, and momentum shifts – influence real-time token movements.
The latest trading battle reflects growing momentum around the Chiliz ecosystem, and comes on the heels of successful contests including for PSG vs Arsenal in the Champions League final.
Monday’s livestream battle was won by trader AndySlaps, who “shorted Portugal at the right time and went long on Spain right before the goal and was able to squeeze out the highest PNL for the night.”
