$SPURS Fan Token™ Makes 68.4% Intraday Jump Amid Huge Signings

Tottenham Hotspur survived Premier League relegation by the skin of their teeth, and they’ve wasted no time strengthening their squad for the upcoming season, a fact that hasn’t escaped the attention of SportFi traders.
$SPURS Moons After Record Signings
Yesterday (July 1), the Tottenham Hotspur Fan Token™ ($SPURS) gained 68.4% intraday, rising from $0.095 to $0.160. Trade volumes peaked at $2.1M earlier today, up from just $50k yesterday morning.
Although the token has since fallen to $0.112, it is still 17.8% higher than it was in the early hours of Wednesday.

In recent days, Tottenham Hotspur broke their transfer record not once but twice. First, they secured the services of midfielder Mateus Fernandes from relegated West Ham United for £85M. Then, they signed Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali in a mega deal worth up to £100M.

Tonali was rumoured to have attracted interest from Premier League champions Arsenal ($AFC), so it seems Spurs have pulled off quite the coup getting his name on the dotted line.
Italian international Tonali is said to have topped the wish list of manager Roberto de Zerbi, who was familiar with him from their time in Serie A.
Tonali and Fernandes join defenders Jan Paul van Hecke (£52M), Andy Robertson (free), and Marcos Senesi (free), with Alejo Véliz, Luka Vuskovic, and Yves Bissouma going in the opposite direction. As such, the north London club will have something of a new-look squad come the start of the 26/27 season.
What Next for $SPURS?
Spurs’ squad overhaul appears to be feeding into Fan Token™ markets, at least based on yesterday’s spectacular rally. The 68.4% $SPURS price pump occurred between 5AM and 5PM CEST before the token lost steam and fell from its peak.
Where $SPURS goes from here is anyone’s guess, although rumours are already circulating that the club’s transfer blitz isn’t done: West Ham striker Crysencio Summerville, who featured for Netherlands in the World Cup, is reportedly on the radar.
After barely retaining their Premier League status last season, it appears the power brokers at Spurs are intent on putting that scare behind them and mounting a top-four challenge.
