Spain Fan Token™ ($SPAIN) Lands on Socios.com Amid Summer of Football

Chiliz Group today announced the addition of the Spain Fan Token™ ($SPAIN) to its array of sporting assets on Socios.com, as the Royal Spanish Football Association launches its own digital asset in a landmark partnership.

The agreement brings one of world football’s most successful national teams into the global Fan Token™ ecosystem, alongside international sides including Argentina, Portugal, Italy, and the recently launched South Africa, Scotland and Belgium. 

Spain Joins Chiliz and Socios.com

The partnership is designed to create new digital engagement opportunities for Spanish football fans around the world, connecting supporters more closely with the current (and record number of times) UEFA Euro Championships holders through the Socios.com platform. 

The addition of Spain to the Fan Token™ roster builds on Socios.com’s long-standing presence in Spanish football. The Chiliz Group already has Fan Token™ partnerships with leading Spanish clubs including FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, and Sevilla FC, among others.

The Spain national team Fan Token™ will give supporters new opportunities to engage with the team, including fan participation, rewards and exclusive experiences through Socios.com. 

Since launching in 2019, Socios.com has delivered more than 6,000 binding polls for Fan Token™ holders and unlocked over 40,000 rewards and experiences for fans worldwide.

Summer of Fan Participation 

The launch of the Spain Fan Token™ ($SPAIN) comes hot on the heels of multiple Chiliz campaigns set to run for the duration of the World Cup that allow fans to maximise prizes and Reward Points earned on Socios.com.

As part of the launch, Chiliz has confirmed a 10 percent loyalty bonus for eligible participants who held qualifying stakes of Spain as of the 21 May 2026 snapshot at 12:00 CEST under the recent Locker Room campaign. 

To receive the loyalty bonus, eligible users must have participated with no less than the equivalent amount of CHZ they had staked on Spain within the Locker Room as of the snapshot date. The bonus remains subject to applicable terms and local regulatory requirements. 

More information on the relevant CHZ/USD conversion rate will be disclosed after publication of the respective crypto-asset whitepaper. Users should exercise the appropriate caution given the volatility of new assets upon launch. Users in the UK are excluded from this specific Locker Room bonus structure due to local regulatory requirements.

The announcement adds another major national team to the Fan Token™ ecosystem at a moment when global attention is turning toward international football, while giving Spanish supporters a new digital route to connect with their team.
