The Santos FC Fan Token ($SANTOS) continues to be on the rise despite the team’s poor showing in the Brazilian Serie A so far this season.

In the past 24 hours the spot price of the $SANTOS token climbed from $2.23 up to $2.38, leaving the token with 6.7% gains for the day.

Pulling back further, we see that $SANTOS’s monthly performance has been consistent despite the team’s inconsistent showing on the pitch.

In the past 30 days the value of $SANTOS rose from $1.78 to $2.38 – marking 33.7% growth over the course of the month.

In the past week we saw more than $60 million flooding into the $SANTOS token’s daily trade volume, which marked a monthly high for the daily trading average.

The majority of $SANTOS trading took place on Binance, and with a large portion coming from traders on MEXC, as well as Bitget.

Santos Look to Escape Relegation Zone Against Juventude

With a crunch match against fellow relegation strugglers Juventude coming up next week, a win for Santos could lift them out of the relegation zone and potentially propel them up into 15th spot, depending on the outcome of other matches.

Santos’ season has struggled to get started this season. Occasional wins have given fans a glimmer of hope, such as when Neymar popped up to score the surprise winner against league-leaders Flamengo ($MENGO).

But with a career of injuries behind him, Neymar is finding it more difficult to produce those moments of magic, and he isn’t being helped by his underperforming teammates.

Santos’ next two matches after Juventude see them face off against 2nd place Cruzeiro, and 4th place EC Bahia ($BAHIA). With these fixtures ahead, the Juventude match gives Santos a chance to put some points on the board before stronger opposition comes their way.
