OG Fan Token Climbs 8.9% as OG Esports Reaches DreamLeague Playoffs

As the OG Esports team continues to advance in this month’s DOTA 2 DreamLeague competition, the OG Fan Token ($OG) has responded in kind.
The valuation of $OG increased by 8.9% on Tuesday, Dec. 16, just hours after the OG team made it through the Round 6 bracket of the DOTA 2 DreamLeague.
OG are now among the eight remaining teams in the playoffs, and stand to win a share of the combined $474,000 prize pot on offer, with the winner of the playoffs set to receive $200,000.
OG Fan Token Jumps 8.9% on Reaching Playoffs
On Dec. 16 the valuation of the OG Fan Token ($OG) started off at a 24-hour low of $12.02 before surging to a peak of $13.08 in the early hours of the morning, shortly after the OG team confirmed its place in the playoffs.

By time of publication, the token price had fallen back to a valuation of $12.92, leaving the token on 7.4% growth for the day overall.
In the same time frame the token’s trade volume increased by over 350% – rising from $2.2 million to $10 million.
OG Progresses in DOTA 2 DreamLeague
On Dec. 15, the OG Esports team overcame Virtus.pro in a best of three competition in the sixth round of DreamLeague season 27.
The final playoffs are set to take place on Dec. 17, with OG initially set to face off against Tundra Esports in the upper bracket quarter-finals.
The winner of the competition is set to take home the first prize of $200,000, while the runner up will receive $125,000. The rest of the quarter-finalists will receive staggered shares of what remains of the overall $474,000 prize pool.
