LALIGA Fan Token Review: FC Barcelona Claim Top Spot

Match week 14 of the LaLiga produced a series of excitement for fans and several Fan Token clubs, particularly FC Barcelona who moved to the top of the league after a disappointing draw from Real Madrid.

Apart from FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid who bagged three points each, other LaLiga Fan Token clubs including Sevilla, Real Sociedad, and Levante all recorded defeats. Let’s take a look at how each of these Fan Tokens clubs performed.

FC Barcelona ($BAR) vs Alaves

After falling behind Alaves in one minute, FC Barcelona quickly responded with goals from Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo to seal a 3-1 victory over the visitors. With the win, FC Barcelona edged past Real Madrid to claim top spot with Real Madrid now trailing behind with one point.

Despite the recent achievement, FC Barcelona Fan Token, $BAR is trading in the red zone, down by -3.28% with $2.82M in trading volume. Despite this retracement, investors remain bullish for a possible breakout above the $0.55 mark during the week.

Levante ($LEV) vs Athletic Bilbao

It was another nightmare for Levante in match week 14 as the hosts fell to another defeat to Athletic Bilbao. The defeat now leaves Levante in 19th position as Athletic Bilbao moved up to 8th in the table. Meanwhile, the monthly chart shows stability in $LEV’s price as it trades near $0.054, signalling no change in trading activity with Fan Token holders having a bearish outlook on the Fan Token.

Atletico Madrid ($ATM) vs Real Oviedo

Atletico Madrid look set to cement their place in the top four while also keeping their title hopes alive after a 2-0 win over Real Oviedo. The victory now leaves Atletico Madrid three points behind new league leaders FC Barcelona while also giving them a seven point lead over Real Betis who sits in fifth. The two meet on Tuesday night in a blockbuster clash.

After closing in on the $1 mark, Atletico Madrid Fan Token, $ATM recorded a significant decline by 3.15% to trade near $0.88 after briefly testing the $0.93 zone as it pushed for a breakout above $1. Although currently trading at $0.88, investors and token holders remain optimistic for a possible uptick in trading activity before the week closes.

Real Sociedad ($RSO) vs Villarreal

Real Sociedad is another Fan Token club that has a disappointing weekend following a 3-2 defeat to Villarreal who have been impressive this season. The loss leaves Real Sociedad in 9th place with Villarreal one point above Atletico Madrid in third place.

Following the disappointing defeat at home, $RSO saw a significant decline of 7% to trade at $0.0388, a notable drop from $0.404 on Friday. This shows the impact on-field performances can have on the price action of Fan Tokens. Nevertheless, analysts predict a possible upward momentum in the token’s price ahead of the club’s next fixtures.

Sevilla ($SEVILLA) vs Real Betis

It wasn’t the kind of weekend Sevilla and its fans had hoped for, considering that the club headed into the game with hopes of bouncing back from the defeat to Espanyol in week 13. However, the host fell to find the back of the net as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Real Betis, who are seven points away from the top four spot.

Consequently, $SEVILLA has seen further decline from its previous $0.088 to $0.087, a 3.55% decrease in the last 24 hours. While trading volume has declined by 21% to $31,385 analysts predict a potential uptick as the week progresses.

Rayo Vallecano vs Valencia CF ($VCF)

Rayo Vallecano and Valencia CF will lock horns on Monday night as the two clubs look to claim the crucial three points. Pressure is mounting on Valencia who are just one point above the relegation zone, as such, a win for the visitors could put them in a safe spot as they fight to avoid relegation.

The price of Valencia CF Fan Token, $VCF at press time is $0.086682 with a 24-hour trading volume of $34,099. The Fan Token continues to struggle to break out of the $0.08 zone. The possibility of the Fan Token achieving such a feat is dependent partly on the token’s on-field performances, which have been poor in recent weeks. A return to winning ways for the club could boost the token’s price performance as that could boost investors’ confidence in return.
