$JUV Trading Volume Explodes 900% as Del Piero Rumours Swirl

$JUV trading volume has exploded over the past 24 hours, hitting $17.86 million – an increase of more than 900%.

And the surge comes at an interesting time for Juventus fans, with club legend Alessandro Del Piero firmly back in the Bianconeri conversation.

Del Piero back in the Juventus spotlight

Del Piero recently made a surprise appearance on the pitch at the Allianz Stadium ahead of Juventus’ clash with Atalanta.

The reception was emphatic. The former captain was greeted by a huge ovation from supporters before embracing Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali, while Luciano Spalletti and members of the Juventus squad also acknowledged the returning legend.

The appearance has inevitably added to the long-running conversation around a more permanent Del Piero return.

Asked as recently as August whether he could one day return to Juventus as a director, Del Piero hardly slammed the door shut.

According to Gazetta dello Sport reports Del Piero stated, “Only God knows what will happen,” adding that his bond with Juventus goes far beyond his current role as a club legend. 

Speculation among supporters has only intensified since his latest appearance at the Stadium, with talk continuing around whether one of the most iconic figures in Juventus history could eventually take on a more formal role within the club.

$JUV volume explodes

Against that backdrop, activity around $JUV has accelerated dramatically.

Data shows the Fan Token reaching a 24-hour high of $0.3788, compared with a low of $0.3169. At the time of writing, the price has returned to around $0.32.

For context, $JUV had been generating daily volumes around or below $1 million for much of the previous week. Historical data shows volume of around $759,000 on September 20, when Del Piero appeared at the Stadium, before activity began accelerating significantly in the days that followed.

With almost $18 million traded in 24 hours, something has certainly caught the $JUV market’s attention. 

And with Del Piero firmly back in the Juventus conversation, it’s a story worth watching.
