Is the Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) Undervalued Ahead of Season Home Straight?

With 14 games left of the La Liga season, and Barcelona just two points behind leaders Real Madrid, there is reason to believe $BAR may be undervalued ahead of a vital stage of the campaign.
Here’s the bull case for $BAR.
Why $BAR Fan Token May Be Undervalued
The simple reason why $BAR may be undervalued at this juncture is that they are still alive in three competitions, namely La Liga, the Champions League, and the Copa del Rey.
Currently priced at $0.48, the Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) stood at $1.33 when the club opened their title defence on Aug. 16, meaning it has fallen 63.9% since. During that time period, there have been notable short-term price spikes but there’s no getting around the general downward trend.
Looking at more recent price data from socios.com, between Jan. 17 and Feb. 5 the value of $BAR fell from $0.60 to $0.43, a 28.3% drop, although it has since regained 11.1%.

Some will feel this upward trend can continue given Barça have back-to-back home fixtures coming up: vs relegation strugglers Levante this Sunday (Feb. 22) and third-placed Villarreal next Saturday (Feb. 28).
In the meantime, table-toppers Real Madrid have a tricky away tie against midtable Osasuna on Saturday, a team unbeaten in their last five, and there’s also a midweek UCL knockout tie with Benfica to navigate.
March Matches Could Make or Break Barcelona’s Season
Looking ahead to March, Barcelona will return to the UCL as a seeded team, having finished fifth in the 36-team group stage.
The draw for the last 16 will take place next Friday Feb. 27, although Barça know they will face either the winner of Newcastle United vs Qarabag (Newcastle lead 6-1 from the first leg) or the winner of Paris Saint-Germain vs Monaco (PSG lead 3-2 from leg one).
The first leg of Barcelona’s UCL last 16 tie will be played on either Mar. 10 or 11, with the return leg a week later. If Barcelona were to avoid reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, they will be favourites to qualify for the quarterfinals. Might traders view this as a reason to throw their weight behind $BAR?
Aside from the UCL, Barcelona’s March schedule includes a daunting salvage mission in the return leg of the Copa del Rey semifinal (Mar. 3), where they will attempt to turn around a 4-0 deficit against Atlético Madrid.
With the La Liga title race still extremely competitive, the possibility of UCL progression, and at least an outside chance of making the Copa del Rey final, Barcelona are in a good position. If they end the season strong, $BAR might well follow suit.
