How Europa Win Capped 33% Growth for Aston Villa Fan Token ($AVL)

The spot price of the Aston Villa Fan Token ($AVL) has been climbing steadily for the past couple of weeks, as Aston Villa find themselves in the Europa League quarter-finals, and continue to battle it out for the Premier League top four spots.
Following Villa’s 3-1 win over Bologna on April 9, the $AVL recorded double-digit gains.
Let’s see how Villa’s win impacted the $AVL token, and examine how things might play out as we enter the final games of the season.
Aston Villa Fan Token ($AVL) Price
Less than two weeks ago, on March 27, the Aston Villa Fan Token ($AVL) was valued at $0.114.
Last night’s Europa League win resulted in an immediate 13% price spike, but this was the cherry on the cake of a 33% surge that sent the token price to $0.152 by April 10.

The token’s trade volume climbed from $50,000 to over $350,000 over the past 24 hours. Earlier this week, the token’s trade volume peaked at over $700,000 – a 1,600% increase on the previous day.
Why is $AVL Climbing?
Aston Villa’s 33% price gains in less than two weeks follows a recent resurgence by the team, as good form on the pitch carried them to a Europa League quarter-final, and within just one point of third-placed Manchester United in the Premier League.
Notably, Villa have managed to open up a five-point lead over fifth-placed Liverpool. With just seven league games left to play, the likelihood of Villa retaining the fourth and final Champions League qualification spot looks all but assured.
What’s Next for $AVL?
However, there could still be a potential banana skin, or two.
Villa’s final two Premier League games of the season happen to be against Liverpool and Manchester City. These games would prove tough tests for anybody, and may very well decide how Villa’s season ends.
The good news for traders is that if Aston Villa’s Champions League qualification takes until the final game of the season to ensure, it will mean there’s plenty of drama and jeopardy surrounding the $AVL token.
