Galatasaray Sign Leão for $44M as Fan Token® Clubs Record Weekend Wins

Galatasaray completed the $44.2 million signing of Rafael Leão following a 3-2 victory over Göztepe in the Turkish Super Lig.

The transfer capped a weekend of positive results for several clubs with official Fan Tokens, including the side that Leão departed, AC Milan ($ACM).

Galatasaray officially announced Leão’s arrival from AC Milan on Sunday, confirming a fixed transfer fee worth approximately $44.2 million.

Milan will also receive 20% of the profit from any future sale. The Portuguese international has signed a four-year contract and will receive a guaranteed net salary of approximately $11.6 million per season.

The 27-year-old arrives after seven seasons in Milan, where he helped the Rossoneri win the 2021–22 Serie A title and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.

Leão now joins an attack already containing Victor Osimhen, Leroy Sané and Barış Alper Yılmaz. His arrival strengthens a Galatasaray squad preparing to defend its domestic title while competing in the Champions League league phase.

Juventus ($JUV) maintained their perfect Serie A start by beating Parma 2-0. Second-half substitutes Nico González and Teun Koopmeiners scored the goals to take Juventus onto six points from two matches.

Inter Milan ($INTER) joined them on six points after Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s early strike secured a 1-0 victory at Cagliari. AC Milan ($ACM) also preserved their perfect record, beating Venezia 2-0 in their first match without Leão in their lineup.
