Could Inter Milan’s UCL Rescue Mission Against Bodo Deliver More Fan Token Gains?

We are hours away from Inter Milan’s UCL playoff second-leg against Bodø / Glimt, and Fan Token traders are starting to wonder if a resounding victory for the Italians will propel the $INTER token to new heights.
The Inter Milan Fan Token ($INTER) has been on a tear of late, its value having risen 20.5% since a week ago, buoyed by a comfortable 2-0 victory over Lecce on Saturday (Feb. 21). Combined with defeats for chasing AC Milan and Napoli, Inter have now opened up a commanding ten-point lead at the Serie A summit.
All to Play for as Inter Chase UCL Progression
Despite being huge favourites to reclaim the Scudetto, the outlook is less certain on the continent, with Inter facing a daunting rescue mission after losing 3-1 in the subzero conditions of the Arctic Circle last Wednesday (Feb. 18).
Inter became the latest European giant to fall to the plucky Norwegians, who had already dispatched Manchester City and Atlético Madrid in the group stage. A place in the last-16 of the Champions League awaits, and last year’s finalists will need to produce an impressive comeback to progress.
$INTER trading has largely tracked sideways on matchday, although 24hr volumes have consistently been north of $5 million. The token’s value, meanwhile, has dropped by 3.8% in the last 24 hours.

If the Nerazzurri can turn the tie around, they will meet either Manchester City or Sporting Lisbon, and the form book suggests they can pull it off: discounting finals, Inter have triumphed in 10 and lost only two of their last 16 Champions League knockout fixtures.
Although Bodø / Glimt will fancy their chances, stepping into the cauldron of San Siro will present a formidable challenge.
All Eyes On $INTER
With kickoff approaching, the question is what effect a big Inter win could have on its Fan Token. Last week’s defeat to Bodø / Glimt barely caused a blip, with traders shrugging off the loss and trading the Serie A win streak. But with progress to the UCL last-16 on the line, it’s entirely possible $INTER could push higher off the back of a win.
On the flipside, exiting the competition at the playoff stage – having made the final in two of the last three years – would be devastating for the Nerazzurri, and potentially for the Fan Token as well.
