How $BAR Gained 24% in March
The 24% gains recorded by the F.C Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) in the past week come after a six-game unbeaten run, as F.C Barcelona maintained their lead at the top of La Liga, and grabbed an away draw against Newcastle in the Champions League.
From a spot price of $0.463 at the beginning of the month, the $BAR token climbed to a valuation of $0.577 in the next 18 days.
The token’s 24% gains in March were fuelled by strong trade volume, which averaged around $2.5 million a day, and featured three daily spikes above $6 million.
Looking back a little further reveals $BAR has gained 32% since Feb. 5, returning the token to a high not witnessed since early January.
F.C Barcelona vs Newcastle: Fan Token Outlook
F.C Barcelona are favourites to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals after coming away from Newcastle with a 1-1 draw.
However, the task won’t necessarily be an easy one. Newcastle are unbeaten in six Champions League matches (3W, 3D), and clawed back deficits to avoid defeat at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen and current Champions League title holders Paris Saint-Germain.
