Could Barcelona’s 10th Straight Win Be a Launchpad for $BAR?

Barcelona’s perfect start has reached double figures as $BAR trading volume climbs above $5 million. Could they equal a long-standing La Liga record?
Something has been cooking in Catalonia for quite a while now – almost two months, in fact.
That’s how long it has been since Barcelona last lost a game of football, and Tuesday night’s Champions League victory over Galatasaray (Oct. 14) marked a tenth straight win for the Catalonian giants.
With an upcoming Champions League match against PSG coming up, soon to be followed by an El Clásico against Real Madrid, this may be the launchpad needed to support a strong run into the autumn and winter months for the Barcelona ($BAR) Fan Token®.

Barcelona ($BAR) Price Analysis
From its daily low of $0.275, the spot price of the Barcelona Fan Token® ($BAR) started to climb in the lead-up to the game and rose 10% to a value of $0.303, per data from Socios.com.

However, that jump was very brief indeed. Pre-match spurts like this are common before big matches, or before games where traders expect one team to win.
This brought a lot of attention to the $BAR token, as its daily trade volume rose to a peak of just under $5 million ($4.95M to be exact), which was a 400% increase from the 24-hour low.
Trade volume includes both buying and selling, so the 400% increase alone cannot necessarily establish that traders are positioning for a rally. The rolling figure also covers a period spanning the Galatasaray fixture, limiting what it can reveal about the reaction to the final result.
The interesting question now is: can $BAR maintain this activity as Barcelona’s next match approaches?
Could Barcelona Equal (or Break) Records?
Barcelona have taken all six available points in the Champions League, adding their victory in Turkey to a 5–1 opening win over Feyenoord.
Their domestic form has been equally convincing. Eight wins from eight have put a longstanding Spanish record within reach, giving supporters another milestone to follow as the club heads into its next league fixture.
Barcelona visit Real Betis on Saturday with the chance to equal Real Madrid’s record of nine consecutive La Liga victories at the start of a season, set in 1968/69.
Don’t assume the match against Betis will be easy. Real Betis have been one of the form teams in La Liga so far this season, and sit third in the league, equal on points with Real Madrid. Plus, the match is away from home, meaning Barcelona won’t have the support of 60,000 Blaugranas to cheer them on.
Barcelona then travel to Paris Saint-Germain on October 20, bringing another Fan Token® club into the picture. PSG are two-time, consecutive Champions League winners, and this has the potential to be one of the showdowns of the year.
However, if the focus is to be on breaking records, Barça will already be looking ahead to the El Clásico against Real Madrid, scheduled for Oct. 25.
Could This Be a Launchpad for $BAR?
In short, potentially.
After the win over Galatasaray, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick told reporters: “Our ambitions are very high this season. We can’t settle for this. The players are doing a fantastic job and we have some extraordinary players.”
With a big Champions League clash and an El Clásico coming up (and let’s not forget Real Betis), October could be the month that $BAR wakes up.
