Champion Call Brings Real Incentives to Argentina vs Spain Final

Argentina and Spain have reached the Final, bringing together two national teams with official Fan Tokens and giving their supporters an opportunity to make their allegiance visible before kick-off.
Champion Call is a new Socios.com campaign that measures how fans are backing the two finalists through eligible growth in their Argentina Fan Token ($ARG) and Spain Fan Token ($SPAIN) balances.
The campaign begins on 16 July at 15:00 CEST and continues until 19 July at 20:59 CEST, one minute before the scheduled start of the Final. During that period, supporters can make their Champion Call by growing the balance of the Fan Token connected to the team they believe will lift the trophy.
A live counter will display the share of eligible support going towards Argentina and Spain, creating a real-time picture of fan conviction as the match approaches.
Make your Champion CallWhat is Champion Call?
Champion Call invites supporters to choose between the two finalists by purchasing eligible $ARG or $SPAIN during a fixed pre-match window.
At the moment the campaign opens, each supporter’s existing balance will be recorded. Only Fan Tokens added after that opening snapshot and before the Entry Cut-Off will count towards the campaign.
Every eligible Fan Token purchased during the window contributes to the selected team’s Champion Call total and creates one provisional entry in the Fan Rewards Draw. The resulting activity will feed into a live Argentina–Spain counter that can be followed before the Final.
The idea is designed to turn what would normally be a single pre-match call to action into an evolving community story. The split may change as more supporters participate, allowing each fanbase to see whether its side is leading, falling behind or closing the gap.
How Can Fans Take Part?
Each eligible Fan Token purchased during the campaign window and held throughout the qualifying period generates one provisional Fan Rewards Draw entry.
Tokens held before the campaign begins do not count. Only eligible additions to a fan’s balance between the opening snapshot and the Entry Cut-Off can generate provisional entries.
Fans can take part by:
- Selecting Argentina or Spain.
- Increasing their $ARG or $SPAIN balance before the Entry Cut-Off.
- Holding the eligible Fan Tokens from the Entry Cut-Off until the official end of the Final.
- Backing the team that ultimately lifts the trophy.
Every eligible Fan Token purchased during the campaign window counts as one provisional draw entry. This means that one eligible Fan Token creates one entry, 10 Fan Tokens create 10 entries and 100 Fan Tokens create 100 entries.
When does the Champion Call campaign begin and end?
The campaign timeline is as follows:
- 16 July, 15:00 CEST: Campaign opens and the opening balance snapshot is taken.
- 19 July, 20:59 CEST: Champion Call closes.
- 19 July, approximately 21:00 CEST: Argentina and Spain contest the Final.
- Official end of the match: The holding requirement concludes and entries linked to the champion can be validated.
- 24 July, 15:00 CEST: Winners are expected to be announced through the Socios.com dApp.
What can Argentina supporters win?
Should Argentina win the Final, four $ARG rewards will be distributed:
- One winner will receive 1,000 $ARG.
- Three winners will receive 500 $ARG.
Eligible supporters who backed Argentina will enter the random draw according to the number of valid entries they generated during the campaign.
What can Spain supporters win?
Should Spain lift the trophy, four shirt rewards will be available:
- One winner will receive a signed Spain shirt.
- Three winners will receive official Spain shirts.
As with the Argentina rewards, the winners will be chosen through a random draw from the valid entries linked to the champion.
The number of entries a supporter holds affects their representation in the draw but does not guarantee that they will receive a reward.
How long must eligible Fan Tokens be held?
Qualifying Fan Tokens must be held from the Entry Cut-Off until the official end of the Final.
This includes extra time and penalties if the match is not settled within 90 minutes.
Selling or transferring the Fan Tokens that generated provisional entries before the Final has officially concluded will void those entries. Fans should therefore wait until the full match, including any potential shootout, has ended before moving eligible tokens.
Which team will lead the Champion Call?
Argentina and Spain have already secured their places in the Final. Champion Call now creates a parallel contest between each country’s supporters before the teams take to the field.
Because only eligible balance growth during the campaign counts, the live counter can move in either direction. Argentina enters with the larger established Fan Token balance, while Spain’s newer supporter base has an opportunity to shape the result from a level starting point.
The sporting contest will be decided on the pitch. The Champion Call split will show which community made the most noise before kick-off.
Fans can make their Champion Call from 15:00 CEST on 16 July until 20:59 CEST on 19 July.
Back your TeamRewards are distributed through a random draw. Eligibility requirements, holding conditions and the Alternative Method of Entry are governed by the official campaign terms and conditions.
