Can Barcelona and $BAR Bounce Back After Clásico Heartbreak?

Barcelona’s perfect start came to an end with back-to-back losses to PSG and Real Madrid. How will Barça and $BAR react?
Barcelona have suffered consecutive defeats for the first time this season after Real Madrid followed Paris Saint-Germain in getting the better of Hansi Flick’s side.
Sunday’s 2–1 Clásico loss at Spotify Camp Nou ended a run of nine straight LaLiga wins. Coming five days after their 4–2 defeat in Paris, it leaves Barça looking for a reset before another busy run of fixtures.
Could this reset also act as the impetus to spur a bounceback by the $BAR token?
How Did $BAR React to El Clásico?
The value of the Barcelona Fan Token® ($BAR) increased by 2.3% in the hours before the match against Real Madrid. However, by the time Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring for Madrid, the token price began to falter.
Although the value held up as Raphinha equalized in the 61st minute, after Mbappe’s winner in the 87th minute, $BAR sank, falling from a daily high of $0.262 to a low of $0.245 by Monday morning, Oct. 26.

Trade volume for $BAR rose during the price drop, climbing from $900,000 earlier in the day to just under $1.4 million by time of writing. The majority of trading was to be found via USDT pairs on Binance, CoinW, and MEXC, respectively.

Given the broader cryptocurrency market fell by 2.6% over the past 24 hours, Barcelona’s defeat can’t be said to be wholly responsible for the drop in the token price.
How Will Barcelona React?
The back-to-back losses against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and Real Madrid in La Liga must act as a wake-up call for the Catalan giants.
Manager Hansi Flick blamed the defeat on a lack of freshness, suggesting his men had been overworked, and weren’t at their physical best.
“We’re disappointed because we lacked freshness,” Flick said in his post-match comments, adding that “what matters now is how we react.”
Barcelona’s next match is against LaLiga minnows Alavés, giving the team a prime opportunity to bounce back.
What follows, however, is a Champions League match against an Aston Villa side that are flying high in the UCL after three wins from three, including a 6-0 drubbing of Fenerbahçe, plus a LaLiga away match against fellow Fan Token® side Atlético Madrid.
