    Fan Token Play is built on mint and burn tokenomics. The public testing phase will also explore an additional mechanism leveraging prediction markets.

    Model 1 - Mint/Burn

    Treasury-based

    Supply moves automatically through smart contracts responding to verified final match data. Amounts are calculated on-chain, with tokens burned and minted directly from the token's treasury.

    Prediction markets act as the settlement layer. Pre-match liquidations fund a WIN prediction, proceeds buyback and burn tokens directly from circulating supply.

    How each game moves supply.

    Pre-match

    • A set amount of Fan Tokens is pre-liquidated before each game
    • The proceeds are placed as a WIN prediction for the upcoming game on one or more multiple prediction markets.

    Buyback & Burn

    Supply Decreases
    • Winning prediction funds are used to buy back Fan Tokens from the market.
    • Repurchased tokens are then either:
      • Burned
      • Part burned, part returned to treasury
      • Returned to treasury
    Loss

    Mint

    Supply Increases
    • The prediction stake is lost
    • The pre-liquidated token amount is re-minted and added to the token treasury.

    No Changes

    • No buyback, burn, or mint is triggered
