Who are Dinamo Zagreb?

GNK Dinamo Zagreb is the most successful Croatian football club having won 32 domestic championship titles, 23 national Cups and 6 Supercup titles. The club was founded on April 26th, 1911. In 1967 GNK Dinamo reached its most important trophy in history: the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, the predecessor of the UEFA Cup/Europa League. In 1963 the Blues were runners-up. GNK Dinamo played 16 seasons in group stages of the UEFA club competitions with an impressive run of 13 group stage participations in last 14 seasons reaching the Europa League round of 16 in 2018/19 and quarterfinals in 2020/21. Dinamo Zagreb is the world record holder in the history of the single World Cup Finals game. In the 2018 World Cup in Russia, in which the Croatian national team reached silver medal, there were 14 former or current Dinamo players. Ten out of those 14 were brought through the club's youth academy including national team captain, FIFA Player of the World and Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modrić.
