$NAP Fan Token Climbs 5% as Napoli Go Level at Top of Serie A

Napoli beat AS Roma 1-0 away from home in Sunday’s top of the league clash, sending them equal on points with league-leaders AC Milan at the summit of the Serie A.

The win coincided with a week in which the price of the Napoli Fan Token ($NAP) increased by 5%, during which time the $NAP token recorded its highest daily average trade volume since May of this year.

Napoli Fan Token ($NAP) Climbs 5%

From a weekly low of $0.359 in the build-up to the match, the price of the Napoli Fan Token ($NAP) increased to $0.376 by time of writing on Dec. 2. The price increase amounted to 5% gains over the course of the week.

In fact, 4.2% growth was recorded in the hours immediately following the win over AS Roma ($ASR), when the token price climbed as high as $0.387, but a pullback to the $0.37 range levelled out those immediate gains.

Just over a week ago, the $NAP daily trade volume spiked as high as $6.07 million — the highest daily influx of trades witnessed in over seven months.

Napoli won two out of two games since the huge flurry of trading activity, suggesting traders may have been anticipating a continuation of the team’s good form, which has seen them lose just one of their last eight games.

Napoli Go Equal on Points with League Leaders

Napoli won their first three opening games of the Serie A season, scoring six goals and conceding just two. A dip in form followed soon after, however a recent run of good form has seen the defending champions return to the top of Serie A.

While Napoli are equal on points with AC Milan ($ACM), they remain behind the Milan team on goal difference. Napoli have scored one more goal than Milan, but have also conceded two more.

This coming weekend, Napoli host seventh-placed Juventus ($JUV) who are on a seven-match unbeaten run after a struggling start to the season.

Meanwhile, AC Milan travel away to 13th-placed Torino who haven’t won a game in their last five.

Ultimately, just one point separates the top four teams at the top of the Serie A table. Could we be set for a repeat of last season, when the title was decided on the final day of the season?
