Barcelona’s Win Over Atleti Boosts $BAR Fan Token 7%

Barcelona extended their lead at the top of LaLiga on Dec. 2, after a 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid in which they had to come from behind to grab the three points.
Despite dominating the match according to all the relevant stats, Barcelona’s night wasn’t made easy by an Atleti side that took the lead in the first half.
Barca equalised soon afterwards, but a missed penalty by Robert Lewandowski sparked doubt in the Camp Nou, before two second-half goals finally secured the win.
Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) Climbs 7%
In the past 24 hours the spot price of the Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) rose 7%, as the token price climbed from $0.547 up to $0.586.

An immediate impact was felt on $BAR in the wake of the match. In the hours between kick-off and the final result alone the token price increased by 3%
$BAR trade volume remained at a steady $3M throughout the past 24 hours. In the week leading up to the match volume nearly doubled from a weekly low of $1.6M.
The $BAR token price started climbing in the build up to the Atletico Madrid match, ultimately gaining 8.7% since Dec. 1.
Barca Win Extends Lead at Top of LaLiga
The win over Atletico Madrid sent Barcelona four points clear of main rivals Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga.
Atleti put up a good fight at the Camp Nou as Alex Baena gave his team the lead with a goal in the 19th minute. Raphinha equalised in the 26th minute, before Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty in the 36th minute.
Dani Olmo gave Barca the lead in the 65th minute, before Ferran Torres wrapped things up in the final seconds of the game.
