$BAR and $ATM Fan Tokens in Flux as Barca Face 13-Game Unbeaten Atleti

Barcelona are set to host Atletico Madrid tonight in a LaLiga clash that could potentially rearrange things at the top of the table.
Barcelona currently top the league table with 34 points, however Atletico sit not far behind in fourth place, just three points behind tonight’s opponents.
The Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) and the Atletico Madrid Fan Token ($ATM) were both in flux on Dec. 2, as anticipation built ahead of the match.
Each token saw an influx of trade volume throughout the 24-hour period, while their price valuations fluctuated in response to ongoing speculation regarding tonight’s result.
Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR)
The past 24 hours were full of ups and downs for the Barcelona Fan Token ($BAR) as the token price gained as much as 4% in the space of a few hours, climbing from $0.540 to $0.562.

Trade volume rose from $3M to $4.1M over the course of the day – the highest daily volume recorded since the build up to the Athletic Bilbao game on Nov. 21.
A few hours after peaking at $0.562, the value of $BAR dropped down to $0.547, wiping out most of the day’s gains. Soon afterwards the token bounced back up to the $0.55 range, marking a 0.7% rebound.
Atletico Madrid Fan Token ($ATM)
As seen in the chart below, the Atletico Madrid Fan Token ($ATM) was in even greater flux than $BAR on the day.

At one point, the token climbed from a daily low of $0.869 up to $0.890, marking gains of 2.4%. That growth was short-lived, however, and the token continued to rise and fall across the day.
Trade volume for $ATM rose from $2M to $2.85M, which was a vast increase from the $1.1M recorded just a couple of days prior.
Match Preview
There’s good news (and thus bad news) for both teams leading into tonight’s match.
The good news for Barcelona is that they’ve won seven of their last ten matches against Atletico Madrid (2L, 1D). Raphina returned from injury in last weekend’s 3-1 win over Alaves, and is expected to start up front alongside Yamal and Lewandowski.
After losing the opening game of the season, Atletico Madrid have gone 13 games unbeaten in LaLiga, and have conceded the fewest goals of any team in the league. Their top scorer Julian Alvarez is expected to start the game after being on the bench in the weekend win against Oviedo.
