Brazilian Serie A Fan Token Roundup: Santos, Flamengo, Fluminense, and More

Both of the Brazilian Serie A league leaders are set to play in separate fixtures tonight, and with just three points between them, there could be a change at the top depending on the outcomes of tonight’s games.
League leaders Cruzeiro are set to play against 10th place Corinthians ($SCCP), while second place Flamengo ($MENGO) will face off against third place Bragantino.
The Flamengo Fan Token ($MENGO) has remained fairly stable around the $0.11 mark over the course of the past week. However, pulling out to the monthly view we see much more movement on the value of $MENGO, with 18.5% gains coming in the past two weeks alone, as the token climbed from $0.097 up to $0.115.
Meanwhile, The S.C Corinthians Fan Token ($SCCP) has registered 6.45% in the past week, having climbed from $0.031 to $0.033. The token still remains some way off its monthly high of $0.045, omitting a brief spike to $0.068 on June 30.
Flamengo have a +2 goal difference advantage over Cruzeiro, so if Corinthians can overcome the challenge of Cruzeiro, and Flamengo can secure a win against Bragantino, Flamengo could replace Cruzeiro at the top of the table.
Fluminense ($FLU) vs Palmeiras ($VERDAO)
The Fluminense ($FLU) Fan Token is currently down 10% for the week, falling from $0.658 down to the $0.59 mark. Furthermore, the token is down 33% for the month in what appears to be a cooling off following the team’s – and the token’s – strong performance during the Club World Cup, where Fluminense reached the semi-final.
The fortunes of Palmeiras ($VERDAO) mirror those of Fluminense, falling 30% in the past month following the team’s quarter-final finish in the Club World Cup. But the $VERDAO spot value has experienced a slight rebound in the last 24 hours, climbing a modest 1.6% from $0.187 up to $0.19.
Santos ($SANTOS) vs S.C Internacional ($SACI)
The Santos FC Fan Token ($SANTOS) is currently up 11.7% for the week, and a momentous 35% for the month, climbing from $1.74 up to $2.36.
The S.C Internacional Fan Token ($SACI) has remained between the $0.17 and $0.19 range in the past month, and while the token is still down for the week and month, it has experienced a strong 5.8% surge in the past 24 hours, climbing from $0.17 to $0.18.
With a win tonight, Santos have the chance to climb out of the relegation places.
Juventude vs Sao Paulo ($SPFC)
The Sao Paulo ($SPFC) Fan Token is up for the day, week and month, with most of its growth coming in the past two weeks, during which time it registered 65% growth, climbing from $0.02 up to $0.033.
