Serie A Fan Token Review: Inter Go Top as Milan and Napoli Drop Points

Matchweek 15 in Serie A saw a change at the top of the league table as Inter Milan leapfrogged Napoli and AC Milan – both of whom dropped points this week.
Elsewhere, we saw an incredible feat as Lazio won against Parma despite having two players red-carded.
Let’s take a look at how the Serie A Fan Tokens are faring after the weekend’s fixtures.
Parma 0-1 Lazio ($LAZIO)
Lazio had a player red-carded in the 42nd minute. They then had another player red-carded in the 78th minute. It was only in the 82nd minute – with nine men on the field – that Lazio managed to score the decisive goal to secure a 1-0 win over Parma, and they now sit in eighth in the league, just five points behind Roma in fourth.
The S.S Lazio Fan Token ($LAZIO) was fighting to attain the $1 valuation on Monday morning, gaining 3% on the day from a $0.97 low.
AC Milan ($ACM) 2-2 Sassuolo
AC Milan initially came back from a goal down, before taking the lead, then subsequently conceding to give Sassuolo a point in this lively 2-2 draw. AC Milan extended their unbeaten run to 14 games, but will ultimately be disappointed to give away their position at the top of the table. Milan now sit in second place, one point behind city rivals Inter.
Over $8 million in trade volume flooded into the AC Milan Fan Token ($ACM) this week, although volatility saw the token price fluctuate. Over the course of the weekend the valuation of $ACM increased by 2%, but lost 6% over the week.
Udinese ($UDI) 1-0 Napoli ($NAP)
Napoli will be disappointed to slip down to third after this loss to Udinese, which leaves the Neapolitans two points off top spot. Udinese climbed into 10th spot in the league, and have now won two out of their last three games – their best run of form in a season marked by inconsistency.
The Udinese Calcio Fan Token ($UDI) is up 19% in just over a week, and 22% since the start of December.
The Napoli Fan Token ($NAP), meanwhile, reacted negatively to the loss, falling 10% since the day of the match by time of writing on Monday.
Genoa 1-2 Inter Milan ($INTER)
Inter Milan were 2-0 up in the first half after Lautaro Martinez set up the first goal and scored the second. A one-goal response from Genoa in the second half wasn’t enough to change the result, as Inter Milan took all three points and went top of the Serie A league table.
In less than 48 hours after the final whistle blew, the price of the Inter Milan Fan Token ($INTER) jumped 16% – from $0.33 up to $0.39.
Eventually the $INTER price fell back to the $0.37 range, leaving the token on 12% gains since Inter went top of Serie A.
Bologna ($BFC) 0-1 Juventus ($JUV)
Juventus took all three points after a goal from Juan Cabal in the 64th minute. Bologna had a man sent off five minutes later. The result allowed Juventus to leapfrog Bologna in the league table, leaving Juventus in fifth and Bologna in sixth.
The Juventus Fan Token ($JUV) was already on the rise after news broke regarding a potential takeover bid from Tether during the weekend. The value of $JUV is currently up 21% in the past 72 hours. On Saturday night, trade volume peaked at over $100 million.
AS Roma are set to host seventh-placed Como tonight, and a win would bring them within a point of third-placed Napoli. A loss, though, could see Como replace them in fourth.
