Can Beşiktaş End Trabzonspor’s 45% Surge Amid 11-Match Unbeaten Run?

Two of the Turkish Süper Lig ‘Big Four’ footballing giants are set to go head to head this Sunday as second-placed Trabzonspor host fifth-placed Beşiktaş.

Trabzonspor are on an 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions, and that good form has been mirrored by the steady rise of the Trabzonspor Fan Token ($TRA), which has climbed 45% since mid-November.

Meanwhile, this weekend’s opponents Besiktas are unbeaten in their last four games, and the valuation of the Beşiktaş Fan Token ($BJK) gained 7.2% in the past five days as anticipation builds ahead of the big match.

Trabzonspor ($TRA) Up 45% Amid 11-Match Unbeaten Run

Since recording a monthly low of $0.254 on Nov. 24, the valuation of the Trabzonspor Fan Token ($TRA) has risen by 45% – climbing to the current price of $0.37 as of Dec. 11.

Trade volume hovered around the $500,000 mark on Dec.11, but had risen as high as $5.2 million just days prior, as the $TRA token price briefly surged to $0.40 – a near three-month high at the time.

The majority of trading action took place on the Paribu exchange and BtcTurk | Kripto, on the day. 

Beşiktaş Fan Token ($BJK) Up 7.2% 

From a weekly low of $0.165, the valuation of the Beşiktaş Fan Token ($BJK) rose to $0.177 on Dec.11, marking growth of 7.2% in just under five days.

The $BJK token price briefly exceeded $0.21 during a short-lived 29% spike on Dec. 8, as more than $600,000 worth of trade volume flooded into $BJK markets in one day. 

An eventual retracement left the token with 7.2% gains for the week, and 15% growth since mid-November. 

Trabzonspor vs Beşiktaş Match Outlook

With the home advantage and an 11-match unbeaten run behind them, Trabzonspor will be considered favourites for the match against Beşiktaş on Sunday.

That said, the last five matches between the pair have resulted in three wins for Beşiktaş, one win for Trabzonspor, and one draw. It should be noted that all of Beşiktaş’ wins came at their home ground. 

Besiktas are currently nine points behind Trabzonspor in the league table, with Trabzonspor just two points behind league leaders Galatasaray ($GAL)

Trabzonspor have won the Turkish Süper Lig seven times, while Beşiktaş have captured the title on 21 occasions.
