Osimhen Signing Seals 43% Monthly Gains for Galatasaray Fan Token ($GAL)

Victor Osimhen is now a Galatasaray player, according to football’s global town crier, Fabrizio Romano.
With most of the transfer details settled earlier this week, all that was left for Osimhen and Galatasaray was to put pen to paper.
Now, Galatasaray have a 37 goal per season striker, and Osimhen has anywhere between 16-25 million euros ($18-29 million) per annum rolling into his bank account, according to various reports.
Galatasaray Fan Token ($GAL) Racks Up 43% Growth
The Galatasaray Fan Token ($GAL) token saw strong growth amid the transfer rumours surrounding Osimhen, climbing from $1.24 to $1.78 within the space of a month, marking 43% growth. Indeed, the token peaked on July 29, just hours after the Osimhen transfer appeared to be agreed.
Since then the token’s surge has cooled off somewhat, falling back to the $1.72 range at time of writing.
Trade volume started the month at around $180,000, and peaked at $12.3 million on July 29 – an incredible 7,000% increase in the amount of $GAL tokens changing hands.
Osimhen Strengthens Galatasaray’s Title Defence
The Osimhen transfer news grabbed the attention of football fans the world over – in no small part thanks to the spotlight shining on Turkish football thanks to the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Galatasaray’s fierce rivals, Fenerbahce ($FB).
Galatasaray won the Turkish Süper Lig by eleven points last season, with 40% of the team’s 91 goals coming from Osimhen alone.
The pressure is on Jose Mourinho to overcome that eleven point gap and retake the Süper Lig title from Galatasaray.
Mourinho has made his own swathe of summer signings at Fenerbahce, with more likely to come.
But with the permanent signing of Osimhen now secured, Galatasaray potentially have their most important piece of summer transfer business concluded already.
